“I’ll Protect You” has the virtue of being a thriller, one of the most popular film genres. It embraces and deals with a large number of sensitive themes such as corruption, the father-child relationship, illnesses, violence against women, growing up without parents, love and lack of moral values. Although the themes dealt with are demanding the film has such a progressive growing, persistent and thrilling rythm that it keeps the audience in suspense until the end.
Other strong points in “I’ll Protect You” are the locations. Thanks to the partnerships and the local authorities, the shooting of the film was carried out in some of the most important and beautiful parts of Italy, among which there are: Florence, Tuscany, the editorial studios of “La Nazione", Michaelangel Square, The Monumental Cemetary of Soffiano, the headquarters of “La Misercordia of Florence” in Piazza Duomo, the Chianti Area, Villa Arrivabene, the former Headquarters of the Municipal Court of Florence in Piazza San Martino, “The Theatre 13”, The Odeon Cinema, The Camerata Hospital, The Court of Law in Novoli and the Gulf of Baratti. One of the goals of this film is also to give value to the huge artistic and naturalistic patrimony we have in Italy.
